Zhu ye qin is produced in Mount Emei, Sichuan. Because its geographical location warms up earlier, the harvesting time is also earlier. It is mined 3-5 days before the Qingming Festival, the new tea was launched in early March.
Zhu ye qin was created decades ago. Because of its flat shape and tapering ends, it resembles a bamboo leaf. It was named "Zhu ye qin" by a marshal.
